DETAIL ITINERARY:

Day 01: Arriving Siem Reap
Upon arrival in Siem Reap we will be met by our friendly guide and transferred to Camp Tbeng. Nestled in the tranquil village of Tbeng, only a short 30 minute drives from Siem Reap and the World Heritage Angkor. Complex is Camp Tbeng - traditional private longhouse accommodation and retreat style campsite. Tonight will follow by the welcome dinner with Khmer Cuisine and Chicken BBQ escort with taro and potato.

Day 02: Siem Reap - Beng Malea Jungle Temple - Tonle Sap Lake
In the morning after enjoys the breakfast at the campsite then we drive through the Cambodian countryside to reach the jungle temple of Beng Malea. Constructed in the 12th century, the temple is now overrun with vegetation but still holds its charm. You will also see the sandstone quarry where Cambodian ancestor carried sandstone to construct the nearby temples

In the afternoon we drive to the floating village of Kampong Khleang on the Tonle Sap Lake. Kampong Khleang during the dry season are universally awestruck by the forest of stilted houses rising up to 10 meters in the air. In wet season the waters rise up to one or two meters of the buildings. Like Kompong Pluk, Kompong Khleang is a permanent community within the flood plain of the Lake, with an economy based in fishing and surrounded by flooded forest. But Kompong Khleang is significantly larger with nearly 10 times the population of Kompong Pluk, making it the largest community on the Lake.

Return to Camp Tbeng to take a rest before your dinner is served.
Tonight will invite the Cambodian victim of landmine to share about their life experiences that he/she is surviving through the situation of war.

Day 03: Tbeng - Project Work
Today will be the service component of our trip. Working in conjunction with Camp Tbeng project we will be responsible for assisting in the habitat restoration instruct by local professional builder. Some people helping to saw the wood and nailing the wooden floor or building the wall and so on. Following by having lunch at the camp site then return to the project site to continue the work till late afternoon.

Dinner tonight will be served at the campsite, and then you will enjoy with Khmer traditional instruments as well as dancing at the camp fire site.

Day 04: Siem Reap – Educational Tours & Cycling in Angkor
Today after having breakfast will check out from the campsite then we visit the main sites of the ancient royal capital of Angkor Thom (interestingly Cambodia’s national flag features a silhouette of Angkor Wat, the ensign being the only one of all the nations to feature a building). Cycling to discover Angkor by visiting the ‘Great City – Angkor Thom’ but also see the jungle temple of Ta Prohm and the main temple of Bayon in the central of Angkor Thom. In the afternoon we visit the most famous and largest of all temples; Angkor Wat. Dinner tonight will be at a restaurant that could view the charming of Siem Reap River at night – FCC.

Day 05: Siem Reap - Phnom Penh
In the morning after breakfast we take the bus to Cambodia’s capital, Phnom Penh. On the way we visit ‘the ancient bridge’, a carving village and for the culinary adventurous we will stop at a local village where deep fried spiders, crickets and birds are sold.

Upon arrival in Phnom Penh we transfer to our hotel and get ready for lunch. After lunch explore Phnom Penh by cyclo. Phnom Penh was once considered the loveliest city in Indochina and still maintains much of its charm; the frenetic Sisowath Quay (Cambodia’s three kilometre raucous riverfront thoroughfare) being described by many as one of the more interesting streets in South East Asia. After our cyclo ride we head back to the hotel for a rest and to get ready for dinner.

Day 06: Phnom Penh - Educational Tour
After breakfast we head off for a fascinating day of sightseeing in and around Phnom Penh. In the morning visit the notorious “Killing Fields” at Choeung Ek and Tuol Sleng Museum, both of which chronicle the unfortunate years under the Khmer Rouge.

After lunch we spend time at the Royal Palace, which houses the Silver Pagoda, so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. Also spend time today at the National Museum, which houses Khmer art from different periods of Khmer history.
There will also be time today for us to wander the stalls of Psar Tuol Tom Puong (The Russian Market) and also the Central Market.

Day 07: Depart Phnom Penh
In the morning after having breakfast at the hotel will be free or enjoy shopping till transfer to the airport for departure flight.
