Trip Tips:
A good way to get around Siem Reap is to rent a bike. You can also take a bike ride and get out and see the countryside. Although it is relatively safe to bike in Siem Reap, traffic laws are not strictly obeyed, and you need to watch for cars driving on the wrong side of the road and running through red lights, and the like. Always wear your helmet, and be alert!
Recommended:
When in Battambang, visit the largest local market, Phsar Nath. You can also take a walk along the Sangke River to see what the local inhabitants are up to.
