For those interested in how Cambodian arts and crafts are made, we highly recommend a visit to the NGO Artsians D’angkor in Siem Reap. It is a skill training centre for people from rural areas to teach them silk weaving, lacquering, stone carving and wooden carving. Tours of the workshops are provided in various languages, and you can see the artisans at work. They also have an excellent gift shop where you can purchase the crafts you saw being made. Itinerary Details:
Day 01: Siem Reap Arrival - Angkor Temples
You will be met by our staff when you arrive in Siem Reap, and transferred to your luxury hotel for check-in. After getting settled in, we set out for a tour of the Angkor Wat temple complex, and enjoy a spectacular sunset from a tethered balloon. In the evening there will be a welcome dinner at local deluxe restaurant. Overnight in Siem Reap hotel. Lunch and Dinner included. 
Day 02: Siem Reap Angkor Temples
After an early breakfast, we head out to see Angkor Thom. It is perhaps the best preserved of all the temples, and the layout and scale are really breathtaking. At Angkor Thom is the South Gate, Bayon, Baphuon, and the terraces of the Elephants and the Leper king. We then go to visit a jungle temple overgrown by balsa wood trees and vines. This is the well-known, Ta Promh Temple with its air of mystery. In the afternoon we drive out in the bucolic countryside to see Banteay Srei Temple and Banteay Kdei Temple, Banteay Srei is known as the citadel of women, 
and is associated with the supposed training of female soldiers to fight against the enemy. It is constructed of pink sandstone and decorated with beautiful stone carvings.
Overnight in Siem Reap hotel. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included.
Day 03: Siem Reap Angkor Temples – Beng Mealea
This morning, we drive out to explore the hidden temple of Beng Mealea which was decimated during the civil war. When you visit the site, you can imagine the Khmer Empire and the recent war. In the afternoon, there will be a boat trip to the Floating Village of Mear Chrey on the Tonle Sap Lake, Asia's largest lake which swells to ten times its normal size during
the wet season.
Overnight in Siem Reap hotel. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included.
Day 04: Siem Reap Departure
Breakfast at hotel, and then free time until you transfer to your departure point.
