Poi Pet information

Poi Pet is a border town on the border with Thailand. It is the trans-shipping point for goods shipped between Cambodia and Thailand, and is the main border crossing in the west between the two countries. The road from Poi Pet connects to Phnom Penh, Battambang and Siem Reap. The road to Siem Reap has been greatly improved, and travel time is now only a couple of hours. There are also several casinos and hotels there, which is the other reason for Poi Pet to exist.
