Sisophon is about 45km from Poi Pet, and is at the junction of the roads that lead to Battambang and Phnom Penh to the south, and to Siem Reap in the west. There are only a few sites worth visiting there. They are Banteay Theap, Banteay Chmar, Kampong Thmor, and the Killing field of Wat Phnom Svay. Many people stop in Sisophon for lunch.
