English Teaching Volunteer Tour "A" - 05 Days
Summary:
Teaching and sharing your knowledge with others can be a very satisfying and rewarding experience. This is especially true when you are teaching kids who would not otherwise have the chance to learn. On the tour, you not only get the good feeling that comes from helping others, but you also learn about the Khmer people and culture. You will have the opportunity to visit the temples of Angkor, and learn about the ancient Khmer Empire, as well as visit the floating village to see how they have adapted to life on the water.

Trip Grade:
This tour is easy and is suitable for all travelers with an average level of fitness and mobility.
Age & Requirements: For volunteer tours, participants must be at least 18 years of age, or older. Also, a background check is required for each participant. Experience in teaching and an understanding of teaching methods is highly desirable, in addition to a lot patience will make for a much more rewarding experience.
Teamwork:
The Travel Loops team is staffed by local and international experts in Indochina travel. They have over 10 years experience in making travel arrangements throughout the Indochina region. English Teaching Volunteer Tour "A" - 05 Days
Itinerary Details:
Day 01: Siem Reap Arrival – Class Visit
When you arrive in Siem Reap, our staff plus a group of students from the Wat Atvea Children’s Association will be waiting to welcome you. You will then transfer to your hotel for check-in. At 4:30pm you will visit the school to meet the teachers and students. In the evening, there will be a welcome dinner at a restaurant. 
Overnight in Siem Reap hotel. Dinner included.
Day 02: Siem Reap - English Class
Breakfast in the hotel. English class schedule for the day:
Morning schedule:
• 07:00am - 08:00am (First morning group)
• 08:00am - 09:00am (Second morning group)
Return to hotel for lunch and to relax
Afternoon schedule:
• 03:30pm - 04:30pm (First afternoon group)
• 04:30pm- 05:30pm (Second afternoon group)
End of teaching day: Back to hotel
Overnight in Siem Reap hotel. Breakfast included.
Day 03: Siem Reap - English Class - Farewell Campfire 
Breakfast in the hotel. Morning and afternoon English class teaching schedule same as above.
After teaching, there will be a campfire with your students to say goodbye.

Day 04: Siem Reap – Angkor Temples - Floating Village
If you are an early riser, this is your chance to get up early and go to watch the sun rise over Angkor Wat. It is a once in a lifetime experience. Then return to the hotel, and after breakfast, we go to see the ancient capital of Angkor Thom where you will see the South Gate, Bayon Temple, Baphuon, and Terraces of the Elephants and the Leper king. Then you will explore the amazing and awe inspiring temple of Angkor Wat. That afternoon we take a trip to see the floating village on Tonle Sap Lake. You will see how they live on the water with houses, a school, restaurants, a church, and all the buildings floating on the water.

Day 05: Siem Reap Departure
Breakfast at the hotel, and then it will be time for you to get ready for your departure transfer. If you have time, you can do last minute shopping or other leisure activity, or just relax before your departure.
