TOUR ITINERARY
Day 01: Chiang Khong- HuayXay - Pakbang
On arrival at the Chiang Khong – HuayXai Immigration Check-Point, proceed with formalities and then you take a private slow boat trip down south along the Mekong River to Pak Beng (lunch en route).
A little town on the banks of Mekong River, HuayXai. The fact is that most visitors to Laos treat HuayXai as a stopover to other destinations. This is quite unfortunate since there is a lot to experience in this small town in terms of local life in Laos and it’s worth it to try some local beer, relax on the banks of Mekong or simply interact with fellow tourists here.
Meal: Lunch and Dinner included

Day 02: Pak Beng-Luang Prabang
After having the lovely breakfast, you will enjoy your adventure by boat to Luang Prabang. On the way you visit several hill tribe villages, heading onwards to the famous caves known as Tham Ting also known as Pak Ou Caves, due to its proximity to Pak Ou village, there are actually two separate caverns at the site, which is locally known as Tham Ting. two linked caverns crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims. Then you will also visit a rice wine distillation village at Ban Sanghai. You should arrive around sunset in to Luang Prabang.
Luang Prabang is one of the beautiful provinces in Laos, was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995. Considered by many travelers and writers as being the heart of Laotian culture, the tiny town is encircled by mountains and is 700 meters above sea level at the confluence of the Nam Khan and Mekong Rivers. Here visitors are subjected to an inflamed economic bubble that does not apply to the rest of the country. Being Laos' premier tourist destination and (one of Southeast Asia's most beautiful spots, ironically tourists will pay more for the innate pleasures of eating, drinking and sleeping than they would in the country's capital city Vientiane.
Meal: Breakfast and Lunch included

Day 03: Luang Prabang – Ancient City Tour
Today you have a full-day city tour of this ancient capital city of the Lao Kingdom, beautifully situated on the Mekong River, surrounded by hills. Also known as the ‘Golden Tree Monastery’, Wat Xieng Thong acts as a gateway to Luang Prabang as it is strategically situated close to where the Mekong joins the Nam Khan River; followed by watching the sunset over the Mekong River and the panoramic view of Luang Prabang City from the top of Mount Phousi.
