Travel Loops Bikes
Travel Loops has a fleet of TREK, BERGAMOUNT, GIANT mountain bikes with24- 27 gears. We have 150 bikes to give you a range of choices with sizes from 13 inches to 22 1/2 inches.
For our cycling tours, the bike hire is included in the tour price. However, if you would like to bring your own bike, the cost of the bike hire can be deducted from the tour price. We generally use GIANT, TREK & BERGAMOUNT mountain bikes as they are of high quality, and are very durable. However, we also use other brands of bikes depending on the grade of the tour and places visited. Please be aware that a particular frame model is not guaranteed.
We prefer to use GIANT, TREK & BERGAMOUNT mountain bike as they are specially designed to deal with different types of road conditions and terrain. Even on road trips, the asphalt can often be broken or potholed, and there are usually unpaved sections, so mountain bikes are the most suitable. Our bikes have 27 gears, and shifting is easy going uphill or down trails.
Renting Bikes for Tours Renting bikes when you get here, saves you time, and of course you don't have to worry about how to pack your bikes, and saves on oversized baggage fees on the plane. Renting your bike gives you a hassle free biking tour.
Our bikes are new and well maintained, and are serviced after every trip. We always have from 1 to 3 spare bikes on hand depended on the group size. Our bike team is well equipped with tools and plenty of inner tubes.
We recommend that you bring your own helmet, bike shirts with long sleeves, bike pants, and bike water bottles. Biking in Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos and Thailand is still not a widespread sport, and it is not always possible to find the right equipment.
Each of our bikes comes with a single water bottle cage. However, if you prefer, you are welcome to bring your own. Our bike seats are general performance seats, and we have seats for both men and women. Our bikes also have gel seat covers if you prefer a softer ride. If you have your own "broken-in" seat, you are welcome to bring it and we'll fit it for you.
We can fit strap style toe-clips if requested, but you might want to bring SPD clip pedals if you use them. If you do choose SPD pedals, please make sure to bring your shoes and cleats.
