Starting in Bangkok this comprehensive 10-day tour takes you to many of the key sites in this amazing country. You will tour Bangkok and it’s temples and floating markets, moving out of the city to visit Ayuthaya and Sukothai. Take in the sights of both Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai before ending the trip.

Day 01: Bangkok
Opon arrival you will be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel. You have a free day to relax and unwind or you may prefer to venture out to get your first taste of Thai culture by visiting a market or two /or just simply wander the streets, a great option when in in Bangkok.

Day 02: Bangkok-visit temples
After your breakfast, you head towards the Temple of the Reclining Buddha at Wat Pho, where yuo find the 47-metre-long statue. then you continue with a visit to the Grand Palace, the most important monument in Thailand, where you will be impressed with the majesty of the building and its corridors to the throne. You will marvel at the mysterious Emerald Buddha, the most revered Buddha image in Thailand. you continue to the interesting amulets market represented basically by Hindu and Buddhist deities. Next you return to the hotel where you will have a free afternoon.

Day 03: Bangkok/floating market-Kanchanaburi
Today after your breakfast visit the floating market of Damnoern Saduak a picturesque place near Bangkok, located some 105 km to the West of the capital heading for the town of Ratchaburi. This is a very popular tourist place, since the older and more famous Thonburi, completely disappeared years ago. They are mainly women, most dressed in their traditional blue farmer’s shirts along with a conical straw hat, paddling in small wooden boats. Here you can buy fruit, vegetables, dishware, various objects, as well as the possibility of enjoying a plate of rice or noodles from one of the floating restaurants. You will then continue to Kanchanaburi to visit the War Museum after which you board a small boat for a great panoramic view of the bridge over the River Kwai. You take a break for lunch in a restaurant overlooking the bridge. Finally, you will visit the historical park of Prasat Meung Singh where the remains of a post 13th century Khmer outpost are preserved. Finally you transfer to Resotel, a tropical bungalow complex located on the banks of the river. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. In the evening, you will enjoy a traditional dance show by the Mon tribe.

Day 04: Erawan-Ayuthaya
Today you depart for the Erawan National Park with its group of seven waterfalls. Enjoy the beautiful landscape with its distinctive blue tones, and also relax while bathing in the middle of the stream. You head toward Ayuthaya where you enjoy a beautiful sunset at the temple Wat Chai Wattanaram. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 05: Ayuthaya-Lopburi-Sukothai
After your breakfast visit Wat Choeng Phanang to enjoy the morning ritual chants of the monks. After this often-private spiritual experience, you visit the Wat Mahathat, located at the famous head of Buddha inside a tree. You visit the monkey sanctuary in the middle of the city of Lopburi and continue our path towards Sukothai. Arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Day 06: Sukothai-Lampang-Pha Yao-Chiang Rai
In the morning breakfast then visit the historical Park of Sukhothai, declared a world heritage site by UNESCO. You then get on our bikes and head for Sukhothai Plains gardens, cycling around its ruins and lakes. You will contemplate one of the most important icons, the great white Buddha of Wat Sri Chum. You headed to Lampang-Wat Phra That Lampang Luang, where you will visit one of the most famous temples in the North of Thailand. You also enjoy a horse carriage ride through the city of Lampang until you reach Baan Sao Nak, this huge teak house, supported by 116 columns with a square base, represents the typical local architecture. Continue to Pha Yao, en route you visit the local market where you will find local foods like fried insects and spiders etc. On arrival at Pha Yao, you visit Kwan Pha Yao; this immense mass of water is the most extensive wetland in the North of Thailand. Then you stop for lunch at a local restaurant before continuing on to Chiang Rai where we will transfer you to your hotel.

Day 07: Chiang Rai-golden triangle-Chiang Rai
Today you visit a town, which is home to several tribes including the fascinating long-necked women. Continuing towards the town of Mae Sai, the point to the North of Thailand; here the people live off the exchange of goods with their neighbors in Myanmar (formerly Burma). You then visit the area known as the "Golden triangle", the united border of three countries: Thailand, Myanmar and Laos, particularly famous for its splendid mountains, harboring enigmatic itinerant tribes. Your final visit is to the Opium Museum. In the evening, you recommend you take a walk to the night market.

Day 08: Chiang Rai-Chiang Mai
Today after breakfast you head for Chiang Mai with a stop in the strange white temple at Wat Rong Khun, designed by a contemporary artist, very famous in Thailand. You will also visit Mae Ka Chan to enjoy their natural conditioned thermal swimming pools. On arrival at Chiang Mai, you will visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, sculpted in the mountain at 1,056 meters. The temple is accessed by a staircase of 290 steps flanked by a NAGA balustrade on both sides. King Gue-Na built the monastery in 1383. In the centre there is an enormous Chedi (Funeral Pagoda), which contains a few small relics of Buddha. You have a night departure from the hotel to enjoy a Khantoke dinner – a typical Thai tradition, livened up by the old dances of northern Thailand and then a performance with music and dances of several tribes of the North.

Day 09: Chiang Mai/Elephant Safari/Tiger Kingdom
In the morning you head for the elephant camp. You will observe the elephants cooling off in the river and watch an elephant show. Then you ride on the back of elephants for an hour through the jungle with the subsequent return in an ox-cart to the village of elephants for lunch. After lunch go down river in a 45-minute bamboo raft ride then you can relax and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the surrounding nature. You will continue on towards an exotic orchids farm in the countryside. Next you can go to Tiger Kingdom, to see the Tigers with the opportunity to touch them and play with them (optional, not included in the price). At the end of the trip you will be transfer to your hotel.

Day 10: Chiang Mai-Bangkok-your country or destination Beach
Breakfast at the hotel. At the appointed time, transfer to the airport for flight to your next destination.
