ITINERARY

Day 01: Phnom Penh Arrival

Depending on your arrived time in Phnom Penh is the capital of Cambodia, your local English speaking guide will be on hand to meet you personally, and you will be transported to your hotel for check-in. Free time after checking in to have your owned exploration of relax.

Phnom Penh is known as the "Pearl in Asia", it was considered one of the loveliest French-built cities in Indochina in the 1920s with old colonial buildings. Especially, there are a number of surviving French colonial buildings scattered along the grand boulevards. Now is the political and commercial capital city of Cambodia.

Tonight will enjoy with Cambodian Living Art performance at the Cambodia National Museum that will start at 07:00 pm to depict about Cambodian life.

Day 02: Phnom Penh City Tours

After having your first breakfast in Cambodia at your hotel, you tour guide will be ready for you in the hotel lobby the driving about 15km out of Phnom Penh to see Beoung CheoungEk Memorial Monument, Killing Fields. Then back to Phnom Penh to the Tuol Sleng Museum - S21 (If you are here on time will also see a documentary film about the Khmer Rouge regime and the genocide of Pol Pot). First the victims are detained and tortured at S-21 prison (TuolSleng Museum), were transported to the extermination to death. Cambodian Government constructed a massive Stupa (Memorial Monument) to keep some of those skulls, bones and pieces of clothing for yearly ceremony to bring peace to the spirits of the deceased

In the afternoon after having lunch (on your account) you will have a guided tour of the National Museum, the Royal Palace with the Silver Pagoda. The Royal Palace contains some spectacular buildings such as the Throne Hall, the Royal Treasury Hall and the Napoleon II villa. Silver pagoda (Pagoda of Emerald Buddha), steps are crafted from Italian marble, and within the throne room the regal floor consists of more than 500 solid silver blocks it weigh about six tones. The currently king's residence is living in the separated hall. In the evening will experience to the Cyclo excursion along the Mekong Riverfront and passing Wat Phnom is significant of Phnom Penh.

Day 03: Phnom Penh - Battambang

After breakfast at the hotel, you'll depart Phnom Penh for ‘City of the rice bowl’ of Cambodia, the town of Battambang. Battambang is lying along Sangkae River and flanking by some well-preserved colonial architecture. It is popular because of it's blend of modern city, small-town friendliness, fresh fruits friendly, which works together to give the town a unique charm.

On the way we pass many rice paddies, villages and farming countryside. You'll visit Udong (Phnom Udong) is an abandoned city (1618-1866), it was also home to a succession of kings, deposed from the former capital of Longvek by the invading Thais as well as will see the local pottery factory in Kompong Chang and enjoy a leisurely boat excursion at Kampong Luang floating village. After check in at our hotel will be free to explore the town by foot as well as enjoy the bamboo train ride through the countryside.

Day 04: Battambang - Siem Reap

After breakfast at the hotel, you will visit Phnom Banon and Phnom Sampeau. The temple on hilltop of Phnom Banon was originally a Hindu temple is built for Shiva god same as the temeples: Phnom Bakheng, Phnom Bok and Phnom Kom located in Siem Reap. Phnom Sampeau is now a Buddhist temple where, in the past, one of the caves was used as a ‘killing cave’ during the regime of Pol Pot (1975-79).

In the afternoon say good bye to Battambang depart to Siem Reap shall takes approximately a 2.5 hour driving. Stop on the way at Preah Net Preah District to see local farmilies who produce stone/wood carves.

Siem Reap, which means the “Defeat of Siam”, is the most prosperous region of contemporary Cambodia. It’s closed to the Angkor Archeological Park on the north and Tonle Sap Lake on the south of the city. The heart of Siem Reap with attractive area is known as Old Market, or Phsa Chas. This part of town is home to a large concentration of restaurants and shops geared.

After checking in to the hotel, there will be free time to relax, or have a look around the town.

Day 05: Siem Reap - Angkor Temples

Early morning rise up to see sunrise over the five towers of Angkor, experience once in your life time. Return back to hotel for taking breakfast, you then head back to see the catpital city of Khmer Empire "Angkor Thom". It is perhaps the best preserved of all the temples, and the layout and scale are equally breath-taking. At Angkor Thom you will explore from the South Gate, Bayon, Baphuon, the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King. Then going to visit a jungle temple overgrown by balsa wood trees and vines. This is the well-known, Ta Prohm Temple with its air of mystery.

In the afternoon we drive out into the stunning Cambodian countryside to see Banteay Srei and Banteay Kdei temples. Banteay Srei is known as the ‘Women’s Temple', and is associated with the supposed training of female soldiers to fight against the enemy. It is fairly unique in that it is constructed of a beautiful pink sandstone and decorated with intricate stone carvings. On the return way you'll visit Cambodia Landmine Museum, has collected of thousands of landmines is impressive. What is even more impressive is the story of the one Khmer man, Mr. Aki Ra, who disarmed the majority of these landmines alone

Day 06: Siem Reap - Floating Village - Angkor Wat

In the morning after the lovely breakfast in your hotel, will driving down south to see the great annual flood of Tonle Sap Lake, you’ll take a boat excursion to see the village of Kompong Phluk on stilts. Explore this great ecosystem by way of canoeing and hear the calls of the birds or macaque monkeys while observing the forest beneath the lake’s surface, you’ll see the Buddhist temple is standing on the island with some beautiful Buddhist life painting on the celling. If your time permits will visit Artisan D'Angkor before having lunch at FCC (Foreign correspondents club).

Spending an afternoon with an exciting trip to Angkor for an excursion the amazing and awe inspiring temples of Angkor Wat where is surrounding by manmade moat and has recorded as the UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will also enjoy climbing up to the hilltop temple of Phnom Bakheng hilltop or Pre Rup temples to see an imposing temple for a truly memorable sunset with the panorama view.

Tonight you will be amazed by the Phare Cambodia Circus; a troupe of young Cambodians offering a spectacular and exciting blend of traditional and modern theatre, music, dance, acrobatics, juggling and contortion beautifully choreographed and performed as a story about Cambodian life and society. You will enjoy a welcome dinner before heading to Phare Cambodia Circus.

Day 07: Siem Reap - Free Day

Breakfast at the hotel. Today is a free day for you to relax by the pool or go for shopping at the local market.

You will start this unique and fun experience being picked Khmer-style in a local transportation mode of "TukTuk". We begin your food tasting experience from some local restaurants to the market where you can try several foods there as well as learning about some of the local herbs or ingredients through available at the market. The food tour will be last between three and four hours, you can do the morning tour will start at 07:30am or afternoon tours will start from 04:30pm.
Do not miss some of the street food stalls or fruit shakes along the walking section of the tour; they are delicious and safe!

Meet and pick up from your hotel for a countryside adventure to enjoy with Quad Bike experiencethrough the countryside of Siem Reap and meeting with the local people. Day 08: Depart Siem Reap

Having your breakfast at the hotel then you have some free time to relax or discover the little Siem Reap town on your own arrangement to Old Market or Angkor Silk Farm. If your time permits, it’s good if you are able to experience with Khmer traditional massage. Your hotel checks out at 12:00 mid-day, based on your departure flight time the guide and drive are ready for transfer you to the airport for taking a flight home.
