Capital and most populous city of Cambodia, Phnom Penh. It has been the national capital since the French protectorate of Cambodia, and has grown to become the nation's economic, industrial, and cultural centre. Now there are tourist attractive sites that we selected are Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and National Museum then heading to understand when this country was in the dark, Killing Field and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, Continue to Russian market or is known to the locals as Phsar Toul Tom Poung for shopping the gift for family and friend, at the end finish by Koh Kong is the most southwestern province of Cambodia. It is one of the biggest provinces in the whole country with a long undeveloped coastline and a mountainous, forested and largely inaccessible interior, which embraces part of the Cardamom Mountains, the biggest coherent rainforest of Southeast Asia.

TOUR ITINERARY

Day 01: Arriving Phnom Penh

Upon arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport, meet our driver and local English-Speaking Guide then transfer direct to hotel. The room will be ready at 14:00PM (Official check in time). Remain of the day is free for your own activity.

Day 02: Phnom Penh City tour

This morning, we tour Phnom Penh, the capital of the Kingdom of Cambodia. We will visit Wat Phnom, the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, and the National Museum, with many pre & post Angkor artifacts. Driving passed the historical monument and memorial to Cambodian warriors from colonial time, Independence Monument was built in 1958.
Lunch at local restaurant

This afternoon, we deal with a dark chapter of Cambodian history as we visit sites related to the Khmer Rouge regime. Visiting the notorious Tuol Sleng Museum and Choeung Ek Killing Field, this former primary school was used as a prison by Pol Pot’s security forces, became the largest center for detention and torture during the rule of the Khmer Rouge from 1975-79. We will also have some time to explore the Russian Market.

Day 03: Phnom Penh – Koh Kong

In the morning will transfer to Koh Kong that will be taking about 4hours. Koh Kong is the most southwestern province of Cambodia. It is one of the biggest provinces in the whole country with a long undeveloped coastline and a mountainous, forested and largely inaccessible interior, which embraces part of the Cardamom Mountains, the biggest coherent rainforest of Southeast Asia. Upon arrival Ta Tai Bridge will be getting on the boat then transfer to your hotel 4 River Floating Lodge.

Day 04: Koh Kong – Tatai Fall

After having the great breakfast, you will explore a tributary that you head into the heart of the Cardamom jungle to the far-off sounds of exotic birds and its secretive wildlife. Within minutes you are at journey’s end, gazing down into the turbulent waters of the falls. Soon it’s time for lunch, maybe a few moments hydro-massage and a refreshing drink as you find some shade for a picnic and open your senses to the sights and sounds of the jungle. We will also arrange to transport some kayaks for your added fun and adventure. After leaving the falls, we stop at the mouth of a small river where you can paddle your kayak to a traditional Cambodian farm; you will see rice fields and some fruit trees depending of the season. Return to the hotel after your trip.

Day 05: Koh Kong – Lost in the Mangrove

After having your breakfast, starting the lovely day by boat excursion into the deep mangroves to experience a rare glimpse of life among the fishing communities, live off the natural bounty of this watery paradise. Drinks will be served en route as you glide down the waterway to your fishing village destination where you will spend time with these shy but friendly people. While the men tend their boats, the womenfolk patiently mend their nets and children play tag and football in the narrow alleyways between the stilt houses. You will also visit the Cham (Muslim) part of the village, which is reached via a maze of small bridges.
After lunch you can make a short but comfortable climb to get an excellent panoramic view of the surrounding countryside and the ocean then return to the lodge, you will experience the pure magic of life among the mangroves and its wildlife from our boat and the kayaks.

Day 06: Depart Koh Kong – Phnom Penh

After having breakfast will transfer by boat to Tatai Bridge for catch up the private transfer to Phnom Penh. When you are free and doing nothing here, enjoy reading and watching the local boats or fisherman are going up and down stream with hot coffees.
